Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form, fold into the custard mixture. Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake at 425 degrees for 10 mins. then reduce to 325 degrees for 30 mins. or until pie is golden brown and knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let cool and then refrigerate before serving.
